Trust & Safety: Artificial Streaming Dashboard

Artists, labels, distributors, DSPs, and even fans are all harmed by artificial streaming. As DSPs update their policies and enforce stricter reporting and takedowns, staying ahead is more important than ever. The new Artificial Streaming Dashboard (available to Revelator partners using our deals) gives you one place to track DSP-reported artificial activity and safeguard your catalog.

What’s New:

  • Consolidated data: View artificial streaming reports from Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Amazon in one place.
  • Artificial streams: Track the volume of streams DSPs have flagged as invalid.
  • Flagged assets: See which tracks or releases DSPs have flagged for artificial activity.
  • Filter & export: Drill down by DSP, market, track, or client and export CSVs for deeper analysis.

How it benefits you:

  • Protect your catalog from takedowns and withheld royalties.
  • Spot risks early and take action before they escalate.
  • Gain clear visibility into which artists, labels, or releases are driving artificial activity.
  • Reduce support overhead with a single source of truth across DSP reports.

Archiving: Keep Your Catalog Clean & Cost-Efficient

Our archiving feature lets you remove old or inactive releases, tracks, artists, or contributors from your daily workspace without losing their history. Archived items don’t count toward your billing thresholds, helping you stay organized and only pay for the content that’s truly active.

What’s New:

  • “Archived” filter: Use the dedicated filter in each section to review everything you’ve archived.
  • Built-in guardrails: Active tracks or items still live on the DSPs cannot be archieved. A warning message will guide you on what to resolve first.
  • Billing relief: Archived items do not count toward your release thresholds, so you only pay for your active content.

How it benefits you:

  • Reduce costs: Pay only for active content. Archived items do not count toward billing thresholds.
  • Declutter safely: Keep your active catalog tidy without risking broken links across releases, tracks, artists, and contracts.

Compilations & Artist Credits: Smarter Metadata

What’s New:

  • Compilation support: Mark a release as a compilation and add as many artists as needed. No need to use “Various Artists” when it doesn’t apply.

  • Edge cases handled: From mixtapes and Best Of collections to tribute albums, your metadata is validated to match each DSP’s unique requirements.
  • Consistent credits: Performing artists are properly aligned at both the track and release level, reducing rejections and re-deliveries.

How it benefits you:

  • Faster delivery: Avoid DSP rejections and delays caused by crediting errors.
  • Save time: Let the platform handle complex rules instead of doing manual actions.
