Spotify: Updated Discovery Mode Reporting
Spotify is introducing two new measures for evaluating Discovery Mode performance.
Campaign stream lift estimates the incremental streams generated by the current campaign. It compares actual performance with Spotify’s estimate of how many streams the track would have received through Discovery Mode surfaces without being enrolled in the campaign.
Historical stream lift compares current performance with the 28 days before the track first entered Discovery Mode. This provides longer-term context but is not a direct measure of the current campaign.
If you access Discovery Mode through Revelator, this reporting is available in your monthly dashboard alongside selections for the next campaign.
